新闻网讯 （记者团 Jane 朱声仄 摄影报道）  There goes a saying among the university students: HUST is the best place to study.The style of study in HUST has been universally acclaimed for decades. Students in HUST come from all over the country, but, they have one thing in common. They will all make every effort to absorb knowledge. It counts for the most vital task, they deem, why they came to college. 
 
    Not to say that many students in the self-study room, you can also see a few people reading in the morning in front of the East 9 Teaching building lately. Most of them are learning English; they are reading articles aloud, reciting passages from text book or memorizing vocabulary. Besides, some of them are reading Japanese, Germany and so on. Among these students, some comes for foreign language department; the rest come from the other department, say, computer science, Chinese Language and literature and school of civil engineering and mechanics. The bulk of them come here alone, or with their roommates. 

    “I feel the climate is comfortable nowadays, I'd like to come here to read English, and I have the faith in making a big progress if I can insist.” a student from school of management said. 

    “I was preparing for an English oral competition, so I will read English each morning for practice”, in the same way, an English major said so. 

    “One of my teacher in New Oriental school encourage us to read aloud, and stick it out .Consequencly we will achieve the goal of fluent English.” The computer science major said.  

    Basically, they come to read around 7:00, in fact, a lot of them have classes later on. A few young men like to sleep late in the morning; conversely, the industrious cherish their best years of life to learn more. 

    How often we hear such words as this “the whole day's work depends on a good start in the morning”.Such being the case, these students are really doing a good job.
