(By  liuhui Gongyan)1.On the evening of November 7th, 31 Model Students candidates participated in a 
competitive show in the No.1 Building. Their excellent performance was rewarded by 
rapturous applause.

2.On the evening of the November 8th,the student journalists of HUST held a meeting
 to celebrate the seventh Reporters’ Day. Some journalists from media in Hubei 
province presented the meeting. 

3.On November 9th and 10th, the Sports Meeting of our university was held on the 
center playground. During these two days,1334 competitors from 36 units took part in
60 track and field programs as well as 4 interesting programs.

4.The final competition about folk music knowledge was held on November 11th, with 
the theme of “Entering into Folk Music, understanding it and appreciate it”. As an
important part of the 4th Associations’ Culture Festival, it combined interest and 
knowledge. 

5.On November 12th, 45 HUST postgraduates visited the Second Deaf-And-Dumb School in 
Wuhan as volunteers. They brought with them wonderful performances and communicated 
freely with students there. 

6.On the evening of November 12th,the Second Health and Vigor Competition was held in
the gymnasium of Tongji district. More than 1000 competitors from all over the country
gave brilliant performances, which was praised by Karloison, the chairman of the Full 
Star Cheer Leading.

7.Signing up for the Oral English Examination of the 4th grade and the 6th grade
started from November 15th until 19th. The examination will take place on December 
16th and 17th.
